Dane is a Senior Associate at Quinn Law Group, contributing over 23 years of substantial legal expertise as a Solicitor and previously as a Barrister.

His distinguished career spans dispute resolution, commercial & corporate litigation & family law, complemented by a strong background in several related practice areas.

This blending of advocacy and legal knowledge provides clients with significantly lower legal costs, effectively combining a seasoned advocate and an experienced Solicitor in the one practitioner.

Dane commenced his legal career in 2003 as a Solicitor with the Brisbane-based firm Bennett & Philp, honing his litigation skills in insurance litigation.  

In 2005, he was called to the Bar as a Barrister-at-Law, establishing himself as a respected advocate.

Dane previously held Barristers’ Chambers at the renowned Culwulla Chambers, a prestigious set of Barristers located at Castlereagh Street, Sydney.

Throughout this time, he specialised in various disputes including commercial litigation & family law financial matters, while also maintaining Chambers in Brisbane.

Recognising his talent and litigation expertise, in 2009 Dane was recruited to the Pacific, where he served as a Senior Associate Solicitor & Barrister, in the offshore litigation department of the largest offshore law firm in Vanuatu.

In 2012, Dane founded and managed his own offshore litigation firm in Vanuatu, acting as Managing Partner. He returned to Australia in 2019.

Dane continues his diverse Law practice to this day, including representing clients & appearing in corporate & commercial litigation matters as well as complex financial disputes before the Family Court and representing high-profile celebrities, sporting identities and members of the public.

Dane has represented and provided legal advice to prominent commercial clients, including Facebook, Samsung, KFC, The Star, SpaceX and numerous other leading international organisations and major international & Australian law firms in commercial litigation matters.

Dane has reported decisions in Commercial Litigation since 2006, and Court of Appeal insurance law reported decisions from 2005, as well as in the Family Law jurisdiction dating back to 2008.
